Deputy Chief of Mission Kent Logsdon and Cultural Affairs Officer Michelle Logsdon got outside the capital this week for a visit to Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg. Invited by the Gesamtschule 3, they toured a photo exhibition on transatlantic relations at the school and had an engaging discussion on U.S. culture and society with the students. Afterwards, Mr. and Mrs. Logsdon also enjoyed meeting with Mayor Frank Balzer at the city hall and were honored to sign the city’s Golden Book. Thanks to all the “Eisenhüttenstädter” who made this visit possible – we were grateful for your hospitality and the chance to learn more about your city!
