Ambassador Emerson Hosts Reception to Celebrate the Completion of Holocaust Archive Project

Reception in Honor of the Completion of Holocaust Archive Project

On Wednesday, November 19, Ambassador Emerson and DCM Logsdon hosted a reception to celebrate the completion of a 12-year project between the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Berlin State Archives. The museum and the archives had worked together to preserve and copy records from 1933-1945, an objective the museum pursues with archives across Europe. Over several years, the museum and the archives jointly funded a project to inventory and share 7 million pages of Berlin state-level documents from the Nazi era.
