On Wednesday, November 19, Ambassador Emerson and DCM Logsdon hosted a reception to celebrate the completion of a 12-year project between the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Berlin State Archives. The museum and the archives had worked together to preserve and copy records from 1933-1945, an objective the museum pursues with archives across Europe. Over several years, the museum and the archives jointly funded a project to inventory and share 7 million pages of Berlin state-level documents from the Nazi era.
