March 7-11, 2018. U.S. Embassy Berlin, spearheaded by Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service, hosted over 250 U.S. exhibitors during the largest travel and tourism show in the world, the 52nd Internationale Tourismus Börse (ITB) in Berlin. 170,000 visitors attended the five-day show, with approx. 110,000 trade visitors and 60,000 consumers.  On Friday, the Charge d’Affaires Kent Logsdon welcomed 200 media representatives from the travel and tourism industry, there to network with representatives of U.S. tourism suppliers, the Visit USA Committee Germany and Brand USA.  Another highlight was the Native American educational outreach program for AIANTA (American Indian and Alaska Native Tourism Association) in a Berlin high school.  Alexandra Picavet, a National Park Service Ranger, and a team from Customs & Border Protection’s ESTA program also participated in the ITB.Chargé d'Affaires Kent Logsdon Visits the 2018 Tourism Fair in Berlin
