The U.S. Embassy in Berlin will offer consular services in Hanover on April 13, 2023 for U.S. citizens seeking to renew their passports and/or obtain Consular Reports of Birth Abroad for their minor children born in Germany. Appointments will be held at the International School Hannover Region (Bruchmeisterallee 6, 30169 Hanover). Time slots will be available between 10:00 and 14:30. 

Appointment numbers are limited and will be assigned in the order requests are received.  The cutoff date for appointment requests is April 3, 2023.

IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL, PLEASE PROVIDE THE INFORMATION BELOW 

For each person requesting a passport service: 

• Full name:
• Date of birth:
• The issuance and expiration dates of their most recent U.S. passport (if applicable):

For each child requesting a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA): 

• Child’s full name:
• Date of birth:
• U.S. citizen parent’s name and date of birth:

With your appointment confirmation, we will provide detailed instructions regarding forms, fees, and photo requirements.  The processing and delivery time for complete applications will be approximately three weeks.
