Woodward Clark Price, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM)
Woodward Clark Price arrived as the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) in June 2021 and served as Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. until the arrival of Ambassador Gutmann. He previously served as the director of European Union and Regional Affairs in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he served as Economic Minister Counselor in Berlin from 2016-2019. His previous assignments include Deputy Chief of Mission in Yerevan, Armenia. Clark also served in the Russia Directorate at the National Security Council. Other previous Foreign Service posts include Athens (Economic Counselor), Tel Aviv (Deputy Economic Counselor), Nicosia and New Delhi. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago and Master of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS. Clark speaks German, Greek, and some Armenian and Hebrew.
