Entrepreneurship MOOC

Ideas and Innovation Forum

To foster the spirit of entrepreneurship under the patronage of the Ambassador of the United States of America John B. Emerson

Entrepreneurial spirit is a key driver of economic growth and success. It is not just about crafting the right economic policy; it’s about creating a climate in which ideas and innovation can flourish. One of the best ways to transform innovative ideas into thriving companies is to share knowledge within communities, across countries, and around the world.  There are many instances of how German and American innovators, scientists, and students have worked together to shape the world we live in.  We would like to expand this German-American community of entrepreneurs by exploring some of the ways they have turned great ideas into great companies – on both sides of the Atlantic.

Here’s how you can join us:

  1. Follow with us the MOOC “Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship” run by Dr. James V. Green from the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute at the University of Maryland.  The course runs from May 19 to June 29.  It is free.
