Electronic System for Travel Authorization

• ESTA is an automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
• You must have an e-passport to use the VWP
• If you believe you were incorrectly denied ESTA authorization you can turn to the Traveler Redress Inquiry Program
• A valid ESTA does not guarantee a traveler may enter the United States; U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers determine admissibility upon travelers’ arrival.
• You may travel visa free if you meet all of these requirements.
