2015 Global Entry Enrollment Events in April

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces Global Entry enrollment events in Germany in April, 2015. The Global Entry program allows expedited immigration and customs clearance into the United States for pre-approved, low-risk travelers.

Special enrollment events will be held April 13-17 at Munich Airport and April 20-24 at Frankfurt Airport. Those who wish to participate in these enrollment events should start the process as soon as possible in order to schedule the April interviews.

German citizens who want to be accepted into the Global Entry program must follow these four steps: 1) preregister with German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) at the Frankfurt Airport or Munich Airport Bundespolizei Service Centers; 2) apply for Global Entry online at www.globalentry.gov and pay a $100 non-refundable fee; 3) after being provisionally approved, select an enrollment location, date, and time; and, 4) appear in person for the enrollment. German citizen Global Entry members will have to reregister for Global Entry with the German Federal Police after their second year of membership.

United States citizens who want to be accepted into the Global Entry program must follow these three steps: 1) apply for Global Entry online at www.globalentry.gov and pay a $100 non-refundable fee; 2) after being provisionally approved, select an enrollment location, date, and time; and, 3) appear in person for the enrollment.

Currently available at 42 U.S. airports and 12 preclearance locations, Global Entry streamlines the screening process at U.S. ports of entry for trusted travelers. As an added benefit, Global Entry members are also eligible to participate in the TSA Pre✓™ expedited screening program (on participating airlines).
