Global Entry

Global Entry:  Information about the Global Entry trusted traveler program, which allows expedited immigration and customs clearance into the United States for pre-approved, low-risk travelers, can be found at www.cbp.gov/global-entry/about.

Any German citizen who is at least 12 years old and wants to be accepted into Global Entry must follow these four steps:

  1. Preregister with the German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) at one of the EasyPASS enrollment centers: Frankfurt Airport (Terminal 1, Hall A, Level 2); Munich Airport (Terminal 2, Level 4, Room 4479); Hamburg Airport (Terminal 2, Level 1); Dusseldorf Airport (Central building, departure level); or Berlin Airport (Terminal C);
  2. Apply for Global Entry Online (Trusted Traveler Programs/) and pay a $100 non-refundable fee;
  3. After being provisionally approved, select an enrollment location, date, and time; and,
  4. Appear in person for enrollment.  (Note: German citizens will have to re-register for Global Entry with the German Federal Police after their second year of membership.)
