Lecia Brooks

Lecia Brooks, Outreach Director at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama, and Director of the Civil Rights Memorial Center, gave a fascinating account of the origins and nature of the early Civil Rights Movement. During her lecture tour which led her to Frankfurt, Münster, Bremen, Nürnberg and Freiburg, she also explained the aims and strategies of current struggles to promote civil rights for all groups of society.
