Re-Living the Moon Landing: Exclusive Movie Preview for Highschool Students
With the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing coming up we hosted an exclusive pre-screening of the new documentary APOLLO 11 for about 270 students from 11 schools. A lively discussion followed with American educator Anna Green providing political and technological background. The event at the historical Zoopalast movie theater helped the students understand the history of the space race during the Cold War that led to the crowning achievement of the landing on the moon by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, one of the greatest and most complex feats in human history.
