Message to U.S. Citizens Regarding Passport Renewal Options for Adults

On June 23, the U.S. Mission to Germany will host a “Super Passport Renewal Day” for DS-82 quick drops at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin and U.S. Consulates in Frankfurt and Munich.  Quick drop services are limited to those who are eligible to use the DS-82 form and do not have emergency travel.  No other services will be offered during these times.

Berlin                   Wednesday, June 23, between 1300-1500

Frankfurt             Wednesday, June 23, between 0930-1130 and 1300-1400

Munich                Wednesday, June 23, between 0830-1130

To learn if you qualify to renew using the DS-82 form and about the different options to renew your U.S. passport in Germany, please click:

We encourage those eligible to use the DS-82 process to mail in, quick drop, or courier your passport applications to free up appointments for other U.S. citizens who must, by law, apply in person before a consular officer.

As always, for emergency services, please contact the Embassy or appropriate Consulate General:
