Victoria Nuland, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, visited Berlin November 16-17, 2015 to attend the Berlin Security Conference, where she delivered the keynote address on the importance of security cooperation as a pillar of the transatlantic relationship.  She also met with Christoph Heusgen, the Chancellor’s Director General for Foreign Security and Development Policy, and Ambassador Andreas Michaelis, the Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss a range of global issues, including Ukraine, Syria, and the migration crisis.
